”The conference made me more aware of the work that other organizations of various sizes and types are doing across the country, which will illuminate the work that I do with my own organization every day. The connections that I made and ideas we've already begun to hatch were transformative.”

”The Conference was an excellent networking opportunity; It is very positive to have collaboration in three sectors (civil society (NGOs), Private Sector, and Honduran Government (National, local plus USAID). I was able to reconnect with attendees from prior years and make new contacts. It was a great, positive ambiance.”

”The availability of networking with others and learning what others are doing and how we can coordinate and work together. The gender focus was extremely valuable.”

The Sustainable Honduras Conference is completely directed by volunteers. Each of our Team Members has dedicated years to bringing this idea to fruition, year after year, for over a decade.

We cover the Conference´s expenses with the registration fees, individual donations, and the generosity of our Sponsors. These include, but are not limited to, renting of space, securing simultaneous translation equipment, hiring professional interpreters, catering of meals, printing and reproduction, and many other logistical items.
